Thanks again! On a test, I pressed the shutter down and held it the entire time it took a bull moose to walk across a small stream. I hit the buffer just as he stepped out of the water. Later, I could see the slow down at around 90 shots (32 gig H Series) when viewing them on the computer. Normally, I time their steps and do two or three shot bursts as they make a forward step and splash the water forward so I'd seldom hit the buffer. I get swans flapping or stretching their wings. I can blast then entire sequence with a D4 and pick the two or three where they are the most extended. Same for a fox or coyote jumping into the air to dive into the snow. Gotta love the D4 buffer on those kinds of sequences!
