llevine, I dropped my D4 and 200-400 VR at the same time. I sent both in under two tickets and used the NPS avenue to hopefully get the quicker service. Apparently, both needed some parts to repair, so neither of them came back especially fast. The D4 came back first, and after continuing to see Parts Hold, I finally asked for the loaner lens. I only needed it a week, even though the repair took almost a month. Both pieces came back in great shape and have worked perfectly, despite a drop to a hard surface from about 5 feet. This was the first time I had any need to use the NPS membership.
