What I do Sharookh, is to move the focus point to be in the frame, where the eye is. Too often, a person can have a sharp wingtip, body, but not the eyes.

To develop your panning skills, practice shooting fast flying birds. If you have cormorants, or mergansers, great. Or follow tennis balls closely.

Rivers or parks are a fine place to practice.
