I have fond memories of my D1 and I concur with Lewis especially when it comes to the batteries.

When I finally sold the D1, I had 3 batteries, and I think one of them was only good for about 80 shots on a full charge. It was a great camera, and probably the best sub 3 megapixel camera ever made. The largest print I made from the D1 was a 16x20 for a client of her horse... it looked great at the time, probably still does.

Welcome Lewis, hope to see you around

~Cheers, Allan~
