I'm using a HyperDrive ColorSpace UDMA2. It imports and displays NEF files from both my D4 and D800e. I assume the display is from the JPG images embedded from the NEF. The ColorSpace UDMA2 had sockets for CF and SD cards, but no XQD.
It does have 2 USB2.0 sockets; one is for output to a computer and the other is for input I guess. I don't know if the input USB port can work directly with the camera. I'll experiment with that later, maybe during the football game tonight. The ColorSpace UDMA2 also comes with a WiFi adapter but I don't know what that can do either, but I guess that wouldn't help unless you have the Nikon WiFi adapter on the camera.
Edited to add: The manual says the USB port can interface to a card reader. This means you should be able to connect an XQD reader to the USB port and read the XQD reader. The port on the ColorSpace UDMA2 is a mini USB, not the normal full size connector on a computer, so a special cable would be required to make the connection from the XQD to the ColorSpace UDMA2,
