Agree. I also shoot motorsport. 5 fps is just too low. If your object is traveling at 160 mph, 1 second would cover around 234.7 ft. At 5 fps, distance between shoots would be 47 ft. I do short burst to capture my shoots. I don’t need the 10 fps but it is available when I need it.
