Having used the D2x and D2h together a lot, I'd say that the AF differences are as near to zero as I can account. The frame rates are drastically higher with the D2h - so if that's what your requirement is, there's a very clear choice. Other than that, I'd go with the D2x or D2xs. As noted above there's little operational difference between a 2x and a 2xs other than the LCD.
In theory the D2h goes higher in ISO, but in practice not so much. The noise is better controlled on the D2x, and by the time you end up with something headed to the printer, the nominal 2-stop difference has mostly disappeared. They're both pretty noisy by today's standards, unless they're near base ISO.
