The D2xs sounds like a real good investment. They were going for more like $800 several years ago when I sold mine. Beware of FleaBay, especially if you are selling. Check out Nikonians Buy/sell and Fred Miranda Forums
The D2xs is better than the D2h in some ways. I think the image quality of the D2h is slightly better, but it sounds like you can benefit from more pixels.
