Neal, Thanks for the tip on the network connection setting! Mine was on !
The last time I was shooting I got about 700 images before I replaced the battery. It was at about 90% used. This was with the Network search on.
Mine also seems to drain the battery while off in the bag! Seems to me I have excessive current draw with it in the off position.
I guess I need to really gather some data on this unit before it does out of warranty.
The last Nikon I had battery life issues with was with my D200 it was lousy!
