Hi again,
I should have mentioned I am usually shooting with a 200-400 mm, so the depth of field isn't that great, especially when zoomed to 400mm. I am usually in the F/8 to F/11 in aperture mode already. If they step two or three feet forward, they can easily go out of critical focus.

Any additional advice will be appreciated. I'll review the manual some more, too.
