Lately, I have been photographing a few bull moose in the willows. No problem. After I get an ample supply of a shot when they are just feeding away, I switch over and take a few videos of the same scene.
But, I am not sure how to set the focus for video. If left to auto focus, the lens jumps or zooms in and out a bit with the wind blowing the willows. Just to get some good video, I changed back to photo mode, focused on the moose, changed the lens back to manual focus, then changed to video and Live View and recorded the scene. It works okay until the moose moves out of the focused plane.
I only quickly scanned the manual on video back in March and haven't spent that much time with the feature, so any quick advice is appreciated.
