I have been shooting a "day light" lit kitchen furniture simply to see how HDRish the image will be. The ISO set on camera was 100. The auto-gain was on. The lens was at f/1.4.

The HIGH iso noise reduction was set to NORM. I see your point, - thanks. The question is how big that negative ISO gain step should be in order for the camera to go to 30 sec shutter. Another thing is I did not hear shutter opening. Camera made two frames and... that seemed to be it.
I will investigate it further.
