I have been setting/testing my new D4... and it got stuck.
Let me give you some details here:
Lens - 24mm f/1.4G at F/2.8, focus mode switch set to M/A Exposure Mode - A Release Mode - S AF Mode - AF-C 3D (with focus point set in the center)
Primary Card Slot - set for CF (Card - 8 GB Extreme Pro Sandisk formatted in D4 and tested with single frames - all OK). Secondary Card Slot - set to Overflow Image Quality - RAW ISO - 100 BKT - Off
Firmware - 1.02 A&B Lens distorsion - Updated to the latest
I attempted to take a multiple exposure of 5 frames into a Single Photo with Auto gain ON. (following the Nikon D4 professional setting guide).
1. First time camera only took 2 frames (instead of 5) - I have reviewed and deleted the image 2. Second time camera took 2 frames again - And when I have tried to review and delete this shot second time, it got stuck with review-delete menu on the screen and CF card accees light ON.
None of the menu buttons are accessible, I can not power off the camera. Exposure meter and focus are working. I can cahnge the exposure mode, adjust apperture. Two Button Reset did work, but this did not help (sure the problem is with read-write).
I called and wrote to Nikon, but they do not work in holidays here in Russia.
I am afraid to pull the CF card or battery out. I would appreciate your advices (can I pull either battery of CF - ?).
