Every time you purchase a newly released camera body always check for the latest raw converter that supports it. CS3 does not support the latest converter for the D4. In that case you need to upgrade to CS5 and the latest converter. Generally Adobe lags behind Nikon in adding new models to their software. When that is the case I install Nikon's View NX2 which will always support the new bodies and is free and included with the body, followed by Nikon's Capture NX2.

In the case of CS3 I had to upgrade my Mac to a Intel processor computer and to CS5 as CS3 no longer supported the older Mac processors or my D3X.
