Have you been running it at maximum FPS? We saw the same thing when the D3 was new, and the conclusion was that it was excess grease on the mechanism, which disappears after a month or so (from the mechanism — not from the sensor).
It would be worth giving Nikon service a call about it — they rely on good will from pros and D4 users get good treatment usually.
