Do you think one can get away with a D1x for weddings today? I ask because I am interested in assisting and leanring on the job. This was actually one of my motivations for buying the D1x, as the D1H is a bit low in res for such applications, imho. More than half of the photos in a book I have on wedding photojournalism were done with D1x cameras, but the book is several years old. Color photos at base ISO and black and white conversions at higher ISOs look amazing with this camera.
