I agree with Alan. I think the article is a fair analysis of the limitations of each system and it concludes that as long as you stay within the max range of 6MP digital there is hardly any difference between digital, 35 mm and medium format, respectively.
What I have seen from my quick and dirty test so far, I think Reichmann is right and there is basically no difference in quality when you stick to a max of 13 x 19. I took some D60 test shots I found on the web and printed them on an Epson 1280. I don't have a drum scanner - just a 4000 DPI Sprintscan and I favor the result of the digital source. The prints look 'cleaner'. Of course, cropping is limited.
The most interesting part in the article is:
> with an 8 or 9 megapixel full-frame sensor . . . With Canon's 1D / 1V > family camera of such a spec rumoured to be coming this Fall?...
What about rumors of a Nikon 9 Mpix FULL frame sensor? Anything in sight?
Have a nice day
