Hi all!
It’s always a pleasure to read your posting in this incredible helpful forum. I usually shoot slides and scan my images with a Nikon CoolScan 8000-ED. I ussualy scan to a 1000 dpi resolution. The setting are RGB with fine scan. This scanned images are about 400k in a JPG format. Can you explain how do you get a 50mb file on a 300 dpi resolution? May be their some technical details that I’m not aware of. Is RAW format from digital cameras a better image format?
