BTW: they were doing very good prices on new F100's (Note: F100 not D100)
>and none >mentioned the D100, which is a little alarming as i was told >all that was available was the D1x or D1H. (resulted in >passing out usually on hearing the price)
Its not out yet thats why, If it were me I'd hold off till its out if only to see if it pushes the used price of the original D1 down some.
>I love my F100 to death, but I tried the D1H and was blown >away. On the other hand the resolution of the D1X sounds awesome! >Now there is the d100 in the wind. >Rationalising the $13,000 Aust cost of the D1X (package with >sb-28x) is hard.
Should be a bit less than $13,000 ....Maxwells the Aust Nikon agent has the D1x (kit?) listed at 12,159.00 (rec retail) and I've found just about every retailer can do a bit better than that. Also think of a weekend trip to Bali .... A Duty free 10% GST savings is not to be sniffed at when we are talking that sort of money (best check on that but, there maybe a $$ limit I dont know about)
>Help me please. >ps. 1.5 times on my lens is great. >but does any one know how one can still take a 28 pic, one >of my favourites.
28 pic ?? ... sorry you have lost me there.
BTW: Camera Electronics rent the D1 camera, check there web site for details
