I loved my IBM 1GB microdrive. Unfortunately I lost it to vibration damage. In all fairness, though, my equipment is with me on a lot of rugged trips... My first trip with the digital camera required 11 hours total driving on an extremely rough forestry service road. I guess the card just couldn't take it. Since it is so common for me to be out on roads like that when I'm heading into the wilderness I will no longer buy microdrives for fear of them getting damaged. I did love the microdrive though, and was terribly disappointed to lose it. Right now my favorite CF card is a SanDisk Ultra. It's expensive, but noticeably faster than the regular SanDisk CF card I have. If I could afford it, I'd have several of the Ultras.
