Having purchased the D100 some 3 months ago with the full intention of "testing the digital waters", I planned to use the digital medium only to supplement my film shooting (and recent scanning).
I have not used any of my several film cameras since obtaining the D100. For me, satisfaction equates with the production of excellent prints, at least up to 12" x 18". The digital files from this camera meet this criterion (for me).
The convenience of instant viewing of results, logical image organization, eschewing unwanted images and printing at will, all free of film purchasing and processing, is addictive. Not being a professional, the arguments about limited buffer capacity, plasticy feel and flash-synch speed have no resonance with me.
I am interested in the opinions of the other gals and guys out there.
