I feel the same way about the 24/1.4 that you do Tom. I take a lot of photos of churches and cathedrals, inside and out. I'll use any aperture that fits the situation, not just at f1.4. I find I pick up the lens 10 to 1 over my 14-24. Besides it's high resolution at all the stops what I like is it's very low distortion and it's saturated colors. It's a great lens for shooting large flower gardens and landscaping plots. It's a great general use lens.
