My wife knows I want a real nice lens for Christmas. I've been reading too much n reviews, but you the real users can help me make a wise purchase. Currently I have a D7000, which I love. Someday I would love to go too an 800, but need to wait.
I've been checking out the 24-70 2.8, and 24-120 f4. I just recently purchased a 70-200 f4, and really like it. I have a kit lens 18-105.
What I'm planning is using my kit lens for the wides, and one of the 24-70/120, and the 70-200. I also have the 55-300, which I may sell, never have favored that one. I don't do a lot of night stuff at this time, but planning on it. I'm not a Pro, just a hobbyist, that likes quality and sharpness. I use LR 4 for all my post pics. I did have a chance to borrow a 24-70 2.8 and went wow. So I like to purchase wisely like everyone else.
Sure would appreciate your thoughts. after reading anything I could, i see the differences. I have the opportunity to get the sharpest, and best quality.
