The AF-D 80-200mm f2.8 is the current lens and still in production. It is the sharpest of the non-AFS 80-200mm lenses. The AFS lens on you list is a bit better but is more expensive, even used. Production was stopped in 2003. The early AF lenses were one ring and no tripod mounting foot. The build quality was not as good as the current lens which has been in production since 1997. You will not find any AI or AIS 80-200mm f2.8 lenses as they are very rare. But since the current lens has been in production for such a long time you can find them used for a good price. Just make sure you get the two ring AF 80-200mm f2.8D version.
correction. I did find an AIS 80-200mm f2.8 lens on ebay. It is listed in bargain condition, appears to have a lot of dings and is described as rare. The starting bid is $800 US with no bidders yet.
