"RE: Lens for weddings/portraits"
HiTo be honest, my ideal scenario is two d800's and a 35 1.4 and an 85 1.4 but until photography becomes my full time job, I think I'm stuck with a more budget option. I love shooting with primes and 95% of the time, a 35 f2 stays on my d700. I think the 24-70 is a great piece of glass but makes me lazy. I prefer to move my perspective than a zoom ring. David pullum shot my wedding with a 35 and an 85 and that's it. And he is one the most impressive wedding pros out there...
