I second that. It seems like a good price point.
Value is a matter of individual determination, but if you don't value something enough that you are willing to pay for it, then don't buy it. Whining about Nikon pricing because you think they should be charging less is tiring. And if a man is truly poor, it would seem owning a DSLR should not be a high priority.
If they have the price wrong, and it doesn't sell as they wish, they will adjust it. Conversely, they could determine they underpriced it and raise it. In spite of trying, politicians haven't been able to repeal the law of supply and demand.
