I use a 24-70 F2.8 with my F5 all the time. For 99% of my shots, I don't find the distortion problematic.

It's a fantastic lens.

I'd also suggest a 50mm, either the F1.4 or F1.8. Both G and D series are good, in my opinion. The F1.8D is very low distortion, if that is in fact a concern.

To go with that nice lens, I'd also suggest an 81A warming filter for colour film on outdoor shots for either negatives or slides.

For B&W, I'd suggest a light red filter to get those nice heavy contrasts on some of your outdoor photos. Lots of fun.
