As already pointed out, all wide angle lanses suffer from distortion at the edge of the picture. This effect, called volume anamorphosis is not caused by lens distiortions, but is due to the laws of optics. The DxO Pro software is to my knowledge the only program that effectively corrects for this effect:

I use the Nikon 14-24/2.8 which is the best wide angle lens available from any manufacturer.
