Using the new DOF Nikonian calculator how does one calculate depth of field as follows with a
Nikon 300 mm f/4
Easy with 300 mm alone... but with TC
Does one use f/4 or f/5.6 with 420 mm (300*1.4)?
I understand that we loose 1 stop of light with the TC, but has the aperture size been reduced also, and so should be use 5.6. If the aperture remains the same then f/4 should be used?
