At f/2.8 you will get some noticeable vignetting. However, this is darker than I would have expected at 70mm.

My first thought is to remove the filter, but at 70mm I would not expect the filter ring to be visible.

Was this shot in NEF or JPG? (Hardware and software corrections can come into play.)
