Lenses that work on a D50 may or may not be fully operational on a D3200. The D50 was the last low-end model that had an AF motor in the body, so it was the last DSLR that could use both screwdriver AF lenses and AFS/HSM ("with motor") lenses. The D3200 relies on the lens having a focusing motor as it does NOT have a motor. So the D3200 requires AFS/HSM/"with motor" lenses. Your profile shows a Sigma 18-200, which unfortunately has been made in both motorized and non-motorized ("screwdriver") versions. Your profile shows only the one lens, but your post implies more than one - so you may have some other situations as well.
