Well Greg:
You just ruined my day.
I just picked up my AF-S 80-200mm f/2.8 in the USA and had to drive for it 200 miles on the way in, 200 on the way back home.
But the thrill to mount it on the F5 even if for just a couple of last minute shots before sunset was almost ...... sexual.
As hardware and software keep advancing at vertiginous speed, we will always be left behind -at least for a while-, no matter how frequently we update.
It happens everywhere, in video, audio, photo and larger toys like cars and airplanes.
So, let me enjoy, please.
