My first Nikon AF-first Nikon, period was a N60 with Sigma 28-80 lens. Before that I had a Canon AE-1. The N60 was a nice little camera, but was limited in features. It had no way to fire shutter by remote, no DOF preview, and did not do multiple exposures. A year later I got the N80 with MB-16 grip so it would use aa batteries, and it was awesome! Since then I have had many Nikon bodies, both AF and MF. Lets see, N8008, FG, black FM3A(I miss it), F3HP(I wanted to like it, but mine was a lemon), EM(hated that one), N90, black FA(I miss that one too), Nikomat FTn, and the mighty F100(yes I should have kept it). And DSLRs D100 and D50. Today all I have is 2 N6006's and D300.
