Hi,
I used to have Canon 1 Ds mark III. In canon you can save all custom setting to a file that including AF-C & metering mode.
I couldn't find the way save focus type and metering mode , nor shooting bank neither custom bank.
Is there a way to do taht?

Thanks

Page 335 and 336 of the D800 manual decribes how to save settings and lists all the parameters that will be saved.

You can save to a memory card and then transfer them to another camera or back them up to a computer.

I am not sure if it will save metering mode (as in manual/ centre-weighted or spot)since this only seems to be selectable from the manual switch that surrounds the AE-L/AF-L button. I suspect it will also not save the AF-C/AF-S mode in use. However, it will save all customised settings, including those made to metering and AF functions.
