I am a new user and am lost concerning the bracketing button. When I press and hold the BKT button, it does not allow me to choose the # of frames or exposure steps. I suspect it is something simple, but will appreciate any input.
When adjusting the Sub-command dial, I get the following readings: Auto, 1.0, 2.0, 3.0. When adjusting the Main-Command dial I get the following readings: Blank, HDR, HDR + L (upper right corner.
Suggestions? Insights?

With the BKT button held down move the sub-command dial to towards the right and it should go to 9 and and if you turn to the left it will got to +3.

The command dial changes exposure level.

Hi Captain Jack

Check in the custom settings menu, under 'f8' (controls-assign bracket button). Your bracket button has been set to HDR. Set it back to BKT
and your bracket controls should function properly.

Ciao.

Jim H
That's exactly the problem! Perhaps another couple of months before I learn this camera.
Muchas gracias

Jim,

thanks for posting the correct answer. I tried to solve the OP's problem but I couldn't replicate the problem or find a solution. Since I always do HDR processing in the computer, it never occurred to me that the HDR button could ne assigned to HDR.

Regards, Antero
