Anyone know if the interval time works in the D7100?

I can get start now to work, but If I set a time 1-5 minutes it does not work.
I assume this is not clock time just a delay time?

Manual is not to clear and the format is 00:00

If its what I think you mean, then it is clock time. And remember its format is the 24 hour clock so 10AM is 10:00 and 10PM is 22:00.

Edited to add:

Also make sure your cameras time is correct, and remember that the interval includes exposure time. So if the accumulative exposure time for the number of shots per interval exceeds the interval timer, it will reduce the number of intervals.
