Can all NIKON FX and DX lenses be used with the P7000? Can I use my D90 kit lens, 18-105 mm, on the P7000?

Thanks for the response,

Kent

A P7000? No. Lens is not removable.
A D7000? Yes. I think all Nikon lenses can be used on the D7000. There are some limitations with the old lenses. I don't have enough knowledge about that to tell you more. Brian?

Yes, the 18-105 will work just fine. In fact, that's the same lens that is being kitted with the D7000. Pretty much any Nikon lens you are likely to want to use is compatible. For full details:

All current and recent AF lenses (Nikkors and 3rd Party brands) will work fully on the D7000

Not all. See the D7000 info on Nikon's site. The main limitation for non-AF lenses is that manual focus ones must be AI or AI-S. Old non-AI MF lenses lenses should be modified to AI to avoid possible damage to the lens mount.
There are a few other, not very common, lenses that can't be used - again, check out the Nikon site for the details.
