A few months ago, I picked up a Meike (thanks Vlad!) and an MB-D11. While I certainly liked the Nikon grip's feel, I thought that $200 was a steep premium for the feel.

A week ago, I picked up the D7000 with the Meike, and both batteries were completely dead - this after they were freshly charged 2 days prior, with maybe 100 exposures on them. Of course, I was in a hurry to get a shot, and didn't because of dead batteries.

I now have 2 Nikon MB-D11's. Yeah, it was my fault: I'm an idiot for not turning off both power buttons, or whatever happened. I'd rather pay the idiot tax in the form of a couple hundred bucks than more missed shots.

So, anyhow: if anybody wants a Meike grip, I'll gladly send it your way, just cover my postage cost. I'll ship via priority mail. It might take me a few days to ship, it's because I'm busy.

Drop me a PM or email.

I've left my cheap $40 grip turned on for days without a problem.

My cheap grip didn't last long enough to drain the battery before the battery tray clip broke off

Me too. Sent it back and ordered the Nikon version. I wish it was cheaper but it always works.
