My wife and I will be on a Carribean cruise in January. In the past I remember that the Camera stores there all insist that the Nikon Camera there are all US, not gray market. Is there any way I can tell if the Camera is really US.

Thanks
Steve R

My previous USA Nikon bodies (D100, D200, D300, D700, D3) have a little USA sticker in the battery chamber.

Traditionally, USA digital bodies have had serial numbers beginning with three. They also have Nikon USA warranty documents with the return post card addressed to Melville, NY.
