Did anyone notice the rash of D200, D300, D2X being "liquidated" on the first page of the "I want to sell" forum? I am reasonably sure this is the results of upgraditis to D700.

That's how I found out about the D700. I haven't been paying too much attention, then saw D300's for $1400 and wondered if the recession was worse than I thought.

I haven't noticed anymore than the usual amount; the 200's, D2x's have been up for sale for some time now; the 300's were selling prior to the release of the 700.

There is nothing on the EU to sell board like that.

Maybe us europeans don't have that sort of money to spend....

I couldn't resist the bargain temptation and bought a second D200 from B&H and its on its way to Australia. One good reason for these rapid technological development is you can still pick up excellent cameras at bargain prices.

Having just picked up a low-mileage D2x (4305 cycles) for under $1100, yes, I can definitely feel that love...

Of course, it's already got another 3200 cycles on it in the three weeks since I got it!
