Although I'm a DX user owning the D1x, D2h and D80 I always kept my DX glass to a minimum, owning only the 18-70, 18-135 and 18-200VR because I owned wide angle lenses and used them with my F100 and F3HP. The D700 means I'll be using my wide angle lenses with digital now and may even replace my many film bodies and CoolScan V ED. I'll still use DX with my long lenses and macro but for everything else it's looking like a D700.

It's a little bit of the opposite for me. I've gotten used to the DX crop on my non-DX lenses. For example my 28-70mm will now feel too short for my liking. It looks like I'll have to get new lenses anyway to give me the same or similar focal length as the DX crop.
