So i must be going brain dead. I just did a sensor swab cleaning. Obviously the mirror was up. I tested it again and I'm not satisfied so I try again and now the Mirror Up for Cleaning in the menu is gray'ed out as not available. Already shut off a couple times to no effect. What am I missing here?

nevermind. figured it out. I guess if the battery is down to a certain level, the camera will not go into that mode. fresh battery fixed it.

Yeah, the manual says the battery needs to be above 60%.

Hi Tom,

It is a built in safety feature to prevent shutter and mirror damage.

Best Regards,
Marty
