Anyone know which Nikon Flash will work on the P7700?
Thanks.

Donald,
The Nikon P7000, P7100 and P7700 have a standard hotshoe so they can use any of the Nikon Speedlights. The Nikon 1 series of cameras are the only cameras that use a specific flash.

Hope this helps....JL

Your camera with work with the following flashes, SB-400, SB-600, SB700, SB800, SB900 and the SB910 but the last three are much larger than the camera itself. The P7000/7100/7700 work with any Nikon iTTL flash but will not work with the older flashes like the SB50DX, SB80DX etc.

Although the P7xxx cameras don't have the facility to control other Speedlights via "Master", I often use an SB-800 set to "Master" (fitted to the flash shoe of my P7000) to control other Speedlights set to "Remote". Works perfectly!

Many thanks folks. I found out that my SP700 works fine with it.

James,

Can I assume it will work with a SU-800?

Hi Barry,

My P7000 manual states that an SU-800 is "approved" so I'm sure it will be the same for your P7700...

The SU-800 is redundant for most people on the P7700, which can already act as a commander, but it will work just fine.
