Can you change those to black text or use a different color background?Mick

I personally have had issues with my AF-S 300/f.28 II (non-VR). It is a "D" type AF-S lens and should be 100% compatible. However, when mounted to either my Z 9 or Z 5 it gives the "fEE" error, even though the aperture ring is locked at the smallest aperture. (Ain't my first rodeo, been dealing with "fEE" since my N70 days.)
I've encountered one other person who reports the same error, and no one who has successfully used such a lens. Admittedly, these are older lenses - but this should not be happening. Anyone else?Visit my Nikonians gallery.

I was thinking of pulling the trigger on a 600 F4 E at the end of this year, A boat sale will cover it but your experience would not be common, surely?

Mon 15-Aug-22 03:26 AMIf it's a brand-new lens, schmaybe...but the F lenses are on their way out and the Z lenses seem to be superior in most respects. I'm sticking with Z glass going forward. Went with the 400/f4.5 to replace my 300/f2.8. Not the same but it has its own advantages.Visit my Nikonians gallery.
