Fri 13-Nov-20 10:47 PMAny of the Nikon exotic primes in that range will be as good as it gets. For ease and convenience — and because it is much less expensive than the others — I have the 500mm f/5.6 pf.

Sat 14-Nov-20 05:37 AMI have used the 600 F4, the 180-400 F$ and the 500PF all work well with the FTZ but be aware that the 400, 500 and 600mm primes as well as the 180-400 zoom are not possible to balance properly on a gimbal using standard arca feet, the 500PF does balance or can easily be handheld. Any of the nikon tele exotics (G series) will produce great images using the FTZVisit my Nikonians gallery.

I tested the Tamron 150-600 G2 and it was pretty darn good. But, I bet there's an older Nikon FX lens I can find used that will be sharper.
