Checked how many new lenses Nikon was delivering per year. Back in 2013 it was 8 but since then the number has been between 3 and 6. With the road map for S lenses over the next 3 years I wonder how many F series lenses they will be able to deliver? Perhaps they will be of a higher quality, the 500 f/5.6 this year is certainly stellar.

Stray thoughts, perhaps, it will be what it will. There are enough great F series lenses around but there will be pressure on new F series lens delivery. When there is a DX ML out, there will need to be at least one walk around DX S series lens. The 24-70 is not going to cut it. Perhaps a WA as well.

Okay enough of this, go take great pictures. Have a super day.
