I think you are safe to proceed. If you still feel unsure I think you can save your settings on a memory card and then restore afterward, but since I don't own a Z II camera I can't give you the steps for this. Never did any upgrade to my cameras' firmware, but this one seems promising.
My question - Does the upgrade changes the setting I made? Do I need to save the settings before the upgrade and load them to the camera after the upgrade?
