I had an annoying situation where I discovered that my Z6 viewfinder eye sensor (the one that senses when your face is behind the eyecup and switches the display) would not switch the screen and always remained in viewfinder mode.

I removed the eye cup and wiped the sensor and problem solved. I could not even see what was causing it, but it worked! I hope that this helps somebody.
