Sat 02-Jan-21 08:32 AMIf you can find a longer plate, that should work.
Another option would be to add weight to the camera via the tripod screw on the bottom. If you already have an L-bracket mounted, just clamp a QR clamp to it. Another option would be to mount a flash or something in the hotshoe.Mick

Sat 02-Jan-21 03:02 PMThe Kirk KLP-725 is 7.25 inches.
The RRS MPR-192 is 7.6 inches.
RRS also has 2 long lens support packages with 10.6 and 14.2 inch plates. This are both expensive.
Those are the longest that I have seen from the major manufacturers.Mick
