When I got my used Z7 the prior owner included an uninstalled Hoodman HoodEYE for Z cameras. I looked at the Nikon manual and it showed a simple illustration for squeezing the lower portion of the rubber cup and pushing up. I tried this and it did not Move (why am I surprised!) I know there are tracks that these eyepieces slide into, but I don't want to tear the original cup just in case I don't like the Hoodman. I must be doing something wrong, for what should be a simple task. It was much easier to play with hoods on my D810 as they just screwed in. I was looking for a short video but did not find one, probably because this should be a no brainer. Any insight will be appreciated.
